Moses is a 2 week old baby who was abandoned on the banks of the river running through Murambinda township. Local people brought him to Murambinda Mission Hospital. Here the hospital nourished him, kept him warm, provided him with clothes, and treated the eye infection he was suffering from. The staff took it in turns to hold Moses and show him the love and care he deserves, with one of the nurses volunteering to be Moses’ godfather. Without Murambinda Mission Hospital it is likely that Moses would have been left by the river to die. Following his recovery the hospital took care of Moses until suitable care was arranged for him.
