Zach is a 35 year old man who fractured his femur. He lives in a village 60km away from Murambinda Mission Hospital. It is the nearest hospital to him that can manage his fracture.
He normally works as a water supply operator but is currently unable to work due to his injury. He is worried as he is married with 5 children, he pays school fees for 4 of them (all schools are fee paying). Zach needs to get back to work as soon as possible in order to support his family.
Zach is very happy with the care he is receiving at Murambinda Mission Hospital but his recovery has been delayed due to the shortage of traction kits and he is required to purchase his own crutches when he is discharged.
